About Scholarship

You will get a Work Lab in form of real workplace and monthly scholarship. You are getting enrolled for a three year program wherein you will be associated with a Work Lab at a reputed Service Sector Company at the time of admission itself for three years. You will be involved in actual tasks at the real workplace. This program is with scholarship. The industry partner providing a Work Lab will be giving this scholarship.

You will have to clear an Entrance Test to get selected at one of the companies participating in this program as Industry Partners and then you would get associated with the respective company to complete Work Lab for three years.

You as a Student will get monthly scholarship. It will be as per the norms by respective Industry Partner
Work Lab timings may vary from company to company. There may be working in shifts - even night shifts at some of the Industry Partners. Normally the shifts start from 8/9/9.30 am or 1.00 pm and the duration of each shift is approximately 8 to 10 hours.
Giving services to customers through telephone or internet communication or offering Front office or Back Office services of different types or sales and marketing on the field shall be the type of work for you. The sectors would change based on the company. For ex: Insurance, Educational, Banking, Finance, Telecom etc. You would be given a process training by respective company initially.

Yes. Industry is offering real workplace as a Work Lab for the Students to complete the Practical component of this degree program. Students can earn ‘Work Credits’ through their working at industry. These are awarded based on their performance at the Work Lab. Hence, working at Industry Workplace i.e. completing Practicals at the Work Lab is an integral part of MFS Degree Program.

‘Knowledge credits’ can be earned by accessing eLearning resources and solving eAssessments made available through eLearning Platform.

Students' performance at the Work Lab in form of credit points will be considered as ‘Work Credits’, for the award of degree.

Every month your performance at the Work Lab shall be assessed and you would get ratings. The 'Work Credits' carry 50% weightage. Balance 50% weightage is given to your regular learning through eLearning framework, your eLearning assessments and scores.

It is necessary to earn 'Work Credits' based on the performance at the Work Lab and 'Knowledge Credits' based on learning through eLearning, to get the degree.

It is therefore important to perform efficiently at the Work Lab with dedication, commitment and accuracy and also learn about the work done through eLearning framework, in order to get the degree!

In case Student discontinues working in the industry and thereby cease to be a Student taking practicals at the Work Lab provided by the industry, i.e. the Study center @ workplace, his/her registration for the degree program shall stand invalid. The program fees paid by the Student shall be non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
Depends on norms of the company providing Work Lab. Students will get weekly off as per the industry norms and as mentioned in Scholarship letter. Also, Students will be entitled to avail leaves as per the industry norms and as mentioned in the Scholarship letter. However, there will not be any ‘Summer vacation’ or ‘Festival vacation’, as such which a conventional college generally offers.
The Work Lab provided by Industry Partners, where Students will be involved in actual work environment of the industry is referred as Study Center@ Workplace, i.e. SC@WP

No. There will not be any special holidays to prepare and /or to appear for examinations. Continuous performance at Work Lab and learning through eLearning platform is considered for internal assessment. Year end / Semester end examinations are generally conducted on Sundays.

The holidays would be as per the respective industry norms.

Students have to clear the Entrance Test successfully and get shortlisted for Stage 2. Based on his/her preference given for the Work Lab while applying for Entrance Test, his score in Entrance Test Stage 1 and availability of number of seats, the Work Lab shall be allotted to the Student. No. Students will have to arrange for the accommodation on their own
No. Students will have to arrange for the transportation on their own. Some of the Industry Partner companies, however, may offer transportation facility as per their norms.

About Degree

Students will be awarded the Degree: B.B.A.(BPM)/ B.Sc. in CSA, by Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU).

The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) was established in July 1989 by Act XX- (1989) of the Maharashtra State Legislature. It is the Fifth Open University in the country. The jurisdiction of this university, originally for the State of Maharashtra, has now been extended beyond this State and the university can now operate anywhere across the globe. The YCMOU has been recognized under section 12 (B) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

After successfully completing 3 years of learning through working at Industry Work Labs! University conducts convocation to confer degree to the successful candidates declared eligible for the award of degree. Students, after successfully completing the MFS program which includes 3 years of learning through working experience at Study Centers @ Workplace of industry, shall be eligible for the award of degree.
Yes. Since the degree is recognized by UGC, Learners after completing the degree will be eligible to apply for any post graduate degree program subject to eligibility conditions stipulated by the specific program.
No. It is a full time degree program. It is required to complete full time Work Lab at the company and learn theory through eLearning on the basis of the practical skills gained at the Work Lab.

About The Program

No. The program is simple. More importantly it is based on the practical work experience in form of a Work Lab at industry. So it will not be difficult for you to pursue the program. Interesting courses are to be learnt through eLearning and with the help of mentors. Detailed information about the courses is available on the same website. Please refer Academics section.

A continuous comprehensive evaluation methodology shall be followed for MFS. There will be a fixed hour examination at semester or year end as per University norms.

Students will be continuously assessed for their performance at the Work Lab through their interactions with mentor and eAssessments through eLearning resources.

It is required to complete the courses as per the norms of the University. In case you fail in continuous comprehensive assessments, you will be required to appear for re-examinations as per the norms of the University.

About Entrance Process & Test

You are recommended to appear for Practice Tests at Admission Support cum Exam Center/ online for preparing for Entrance Test.

Objective questions based on Aptitude, Mathematical and logical reasoning, language will be included in the Entrance Test, which a 12th passed student will be able to answer. There would be Computer Based Interview, wherein you will have to answer to the questions asked by the computer by recording the same.
